What is the Spotted feature?

Spotted is a unique feature that allows you to find and connect with people you encounter daily.

To activate the Spotted feature on your profile, please follow the steps below:

1. Open your profile on dua.com.
2. Click the Spotted tab, the icon in the middle at the bottom of your screen.
3. Click on “Find people you spotted.”
4. Click on “Always allow.” (We must always know your location, even when the app is turned off, so we can show you all the people you have spotted).
5. Click on “Permissions.”
6. Click on “Location.”
7. Click on “Allow all the time.”

Note I: Your precise location is not revealed; only the neighborhood where you crossed paths will be displayed.

Note II: The specific time you crossed paths with someone will be indicated (e.g., today, this week, this month).

Go back to the app and enjoy the Spotted feature.

Once you have crossed paths with someone, dua.com will send you a notification. To see all the people you have spotted, you can expand the map and find all the cross-paths. You can like, send an InstaChat, or even dislike them.

Your likes will be stored in the "Liked You" section, and your InstaChats will be in the "InstaChats" tab.

Note: InstaChat has a strict 72-hour response time policy, after which the request expires if the recipient does not respond. Unanswered InstaChats become Likes.
