What is the Spotted feature?

Spotted is a unique feature that helps you find and connect with people you encounter in your daily life.

How to activate the Spotted feature:

1. Open your dua.com profile.
2. Click on the Spotted tab (middle icon at the bottom).
3. Select "Continue."
4. Click on "Allow while using the app."

5. Go to "Phone Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > "Location Services" > "dua.com" and select "Always" to allow dua.com to access your location even when the app is closed, ensuring you see everyone you’ve encountered.

Private Spot

If you want to remain hidden in a specific area, set up a Private Spot:

1. Tap the Spotted tab.
2. Select "Set it."
3. Hold your finger on the map to place a pin.
4. Tap "Confirm."
5. To change it, tap the three dots (top-right) and pick a new location.
6. To turn it off, tap the three dots again.

Using the Spotted Feature

Once you cross paths with someone, you’ll get a notification. Click on "Spotted in real life" or expand the map to view everyone you’ve encountered. From there, you can:

❤️ Like them.
💌 Send an InstaChat.
❌ Dislike them.

Note:

• Location Privacy: Your exact location is not shown—only the neighbourhood where you crossed paths.
• Time of Encounter: The app will show when you crossed paths (e.g., "today," "this week," or "this month").
